Standards New Zealand

Standards New Zealand was looking for a refreshed identity to start the new decade. Following cues from their new mark, a new visual language was developed with a focus on ease-of-use of standards materials, featuring vibrant colours and interlocking fields. The stationery and business system’s objective was to inject a sense of energy and enjoyment into what are usually dry, technical publications. Each of the brand’s core colours is used to differentiate technical, commercial, and strategic content, while the primary brand colour is used on high profile materials like annual reports and ministerial advice. The result is a library of standards which are markedly different than virtually all other national, regional, and international standards bodies and organisations.
